Empowering salespeople with mobile sales enablement

It sounds impossible: give a large and disparate sales team the technology to launch personalised, on-brand, automated marketing – directly from their phones.

Ricoh UK needed a way to align sales and marketing. We saw an opportunity to leverage the power of Oracle Marketing Cloud to create a bespoke sales email program. The result: salespeople can select, personalise and trigger existing campaigns – or specific bottom-of-funnel messaging – directly to their prospects.

Not only has this project brought sales and marketing teams closer together, it also means all prospect data is captured in the CRM – a launchpad for further campaigns and personalisation.

The program created a 15% uplift in new business – worth millions in revenue. It also delivered more than 780 new leads (and rising), increased web traffic by 220%, and provided a massive uplift in the sales team’s engagement with marketing activity.
