Ricoh Europe needed a way to help sales launch marketing campaigns directly to prospects immediately after meeting them. After all, the best time to engage a prospect with a nurture campaign is as quickly as possible after an initial interaction.

It sounds implausible: give a large and disparate sales team the technology to send personalised, on-brand, automated marketing emails and nurture campaigns directly from their mobile devices to prospects.

Leveraging the power of Oracle Marketing Cloud, we created a bespoke mobile sales email tool containing a wide range of pre-defined email communications representing the comprehensive portfolio of services and solutions, encapsulating Ricoh’s entire offer into a simplified buyer journey.

In the opening months, the app created a 15% uplift in new business – worth millions in revenue. It increased web traffic by 220%, provided a massive uplift in the sales team’s engagement with new prospects, and brought marketing and sales closer together.
